Tamil Film makers Still copying Hollywood movies!!!

Yesterday i saw the film named Psycho(1960). I like this movie very much. This film is very thrilling and have more suspense. If you watch first time, you cannot predict what will happen next.. I am so thrilled when i saw this movie, But i predict the climax easily because i already saw this climax in old tamil film named “Moodu Pani(released in 1980)”… Not only this film, most of the hit tamil films is copied from the hollywood..

Some of the examples

“Ghajini(2005)” copied from “Memento(2000)”

“Kuzhanthaiyum theivamum(1965)” copied from “The parent trap(1961)”

“Kandukondaen kandukondaen(2000)” copied from “Sense and Sensibility(1995)”

“New(2004)” copied from “Big(1988)”

“Adhisiya Manidhan(1990)” copied from “Frankenstein(1931)”

“Pachaikili Muthucharam(2007)” copied from “Derailed(2005)”

“Asuran(1995)” copied from “Predator(1987)”

and so many of the tamil films copied from the hollywood films… But we dont know where they copied… In vijay’s “azhagiya tamilmaghan” copied the concept from the “Final destination” and in “Kuruvi” copied the concept of “Blood diamond”…

Music directors also copying from the western musicians.. Especially Deva, he copied the background music for raghuvaran in Batshaa from the film “Sliver” and so many… the latest film of vijayakanth’s “arasangam” background music is copied from “The Bourne Ultimatum”.. In before, vijayakanth have a background music of “golden eye theme” for the film “Thayagam”.. “Enna koduma sir idhu!!!!”

There is more and more examples like this.. A single post is not enough to describe copying hollywood movies.. We have to create a new blog for discussing these topics.:)

We people are showing interest towards these things only…. Here no one is appreciating the innovative work… Thats why these people are following this type of film culture!!!!!

Well here people should change first. Even if directors take good movies do people appreciate it? I guess no. Movies likes Billa 2007, Kuruvi, Sivakasi, Red, Perarasu etc will always dominate Kollywood :D So no use in telling about kollywood and the directors.
