The average number of celebrities per squares foot was very high at the grand finale at Flushing Meadows in which the Federer Express derailed the great British hope Andy Murray.  Spiderman star Toby Maguire was there, so too Star Wars actress Natalie Portman.  Oscar winner Charlize Theron added glitter with actor boyfriend Stuart Townsend in tow.  Crooner Harry Connick Jnr and actress wife Jill Goodacre were prominent, especially since Harry sang the US national anthem to the capacity crowd.  Comedian Gene Wilder was spotted in the stands.  Billionaire tycoon Donald Trump and his wife Melanie were there with their son Baron.  Also spotted were former ER star Julianna Margulies and husband Keith Lieberthat, fashionista Ralph Lauren and wife Ricky, jazz star Tony Bennet and his partner Susan Crow.  The scot who beaten in the final was so star struck he said, “I had the guys from Entourage, which is my favourite show,” he said.
