Now, movies from Apple
Apple is reportedly planning to tie up with movie mogul Twentieth Century Fox to allow its iTunes customers to download new films. The nitty-gritty of the deal is likely to be announced by Apple CEO Steve Jobs this month.
According to reports, the agreement will enable iTunes users to keep the new movies with themselves for a specific period. They can store it in their iPods and watch it on their convenience.
The reports add that Fox may also use Appleās FairPlay digital rights management technology on its DVDs to enable iTunes users to rip them and store them on their computers and media players. As of now, only Walt Disney is providing its new movies to iTunes users. Fox has a fantastic line-up of hits and this will add to the allure.
