‘Robot’ new name ‘Enthiram’

HI friends.  Director Shankar’s mega movie ‘Robot’, starring Superstar Rajnikanth, has been renamed as ‘Enthiram’. However, Shankar has retained the original title as the sub-title. The movie, following the style of ‘Sivaji: The Boss’, has been rechristened as ‘Enthiram: the Robot’.The film, which is arguably the first full fledged sci-fi film in Tamil, is said to be based on two novels written by late Sujatha.Rajnikanth had earlier announced that the film, produced by London-based Aingaran Films International (P) Ltd., would get a Tamil title soon. The Tamil title was not intended to get the tax-exemption, but to honour the State Government’s commitment to patronize films with Tamil titles.  ‘Eyanthira’ and ‘Eyanthiran’ were earlier considered and the final choice fell on the title ‘Enthiram – The Robot’.Three photo-shoots have been held to promote the film, including one that was shot in Hollywood in U.S. last week.  The shooting is expected to kick off in Brazil from September 6 onwards.Shankar’s team is already in Brazil to oversee the arrangements made.  Shankar, Rajnikanth and other actors and crew members are expected to leave for Brazil on 5th while Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan is expected to land in Brazil on 7th.Produced at a whopping budget of Rs.140 crore, the film is said to be the most expensive film made in India in any language till date. let see late

Tamil Film makers Still copying Hollywood movies!!!

Yesterday i saw the film named Psycho(1960). I like this movie very much. This film is very thrilling and have more suspense. If you watch first time, you cannot predict what will happen next.. I am so thrilled when i saw this movie, But i predict the climax easily because i already saw this climax in old tamil film named “Moodu Pani(released in 1980)”… Not only this film, most of the hit tamil films is copied from the hollywood..

Some of the examples

“Ghajini(2005)” copied from “Memento(2000)”

“Kuzhanthaiyum theivamum(1965)” copied from “The parent trap(1961)”

“Kandukondaen kandukondaen(2000)” copied from “Sense and Sensibility(1995)”

“New(2004)” copied from “Big(1988)”

“Adhisiya Manidhan(1990)” copied from “Frankenstein(1931)”

“Pachaikili Muthucharam(2007)” copied from “Derailed(2005)”

“Asuran(1995)” copied from “Predator(1987)”

and so many of the tamil films copied from the hollywood films… But we dont know where they copied… In vijay’s “azhagiya tamilmaghan” copied the concept from the “Final destination” and in “Kuruvi” copied the concept of “Blood diamond”…

Music directors also copying from the western musicians.. Especially Deva, he copied the background music for raghuvaran in Batshaa from the film “Sliver” and so many… the latest film of vijayakanth’s “arasangam” background music is copied from “The Bourne Ultimatum”.. In before, vijayakanth have a background music of “golden eye theme” for the film “Thayagam”.. “Enna koduma sir idhu!!!!”

There is more and more examples like this.. A single post is not enough to describe copying hollywood movies.. We have to create a new blog for discussing these topics.:)

Anjathey (Tamil Movie Download)

Anjathey is a smartly executed crime thriller with the able support of credible performances, effective back ground music, excellent cinematography and sleek editing.

Vellithirai (Tamil Movie Download)

‘Vellithirai’ is all about two friends who want to make it big in tinsel town. Saravanan (Prithviraj), a well-informed person in filmmaking wants to become a director. Kannaiya (Prakash Raj) on the other hand has a dream to become a big star without trying to develop the necessary qualities to become one

Billa 2007 (Tamil Movie Download)

The don is back, and in vogue. Redefining the whole meaning of viciousness, Ajith has recreated the once-immortalized-by-the-superstar role with panache. The most hyped movie of the year has finally hit the theatres marking an end to fans’ long awaited anticipation.

Azhagiya Tamil Mahan (Tamil Movie Download)

Vijay’s target this time around seems to be his fans. Period. With him playing a dual role and Shriya and Namitha as eye candies, ATM is a fun ride with prominence in comedy and usual melodrama.     Vijay’s stylish    action and Rahman’s perky music remain the movie’s highlights.

Malaikottai (Tamil Movie Download)

Newly titled the Puratchi Thalapathy, Vishal’s endeavor at the action-comedy genre, about a young lad and his valor and romance, opened to full houses this week. However, the critics didn’t seem to have developed a liking for the movie, which is evident from the reviews.

Don’t see Lindsay Lohan’s Latest film

5449ug9.jpg

I am an avid fan of Lindsay Lohan.  Last week I awaiting for her latest film”I know who killed me”.  I never ever seen like that worst film like this.  This film is totally boring and it is unfit for the thrilling horror movie.  When I saw her first film “The parent trap” i really amazed, but now i really upset on her performance in this film. This film got two golden raspberry awards(worst film and worst actress) which is giving for poor performance.  Lindsay lost her good name after acting this film. so please guys don’t watch this film and don’t waste time…

American beauty – Really beauty

I had never really heard anything specific about American Beauty besides that it was an instant classic and masterpiece. I was surprised at how real this story was and how it was told in such a witty way. The script is just amazing and it has so many memorable lines. Some parts of the film were funny but mostly it just makes you think closer about life in general. This film shows suburban life for how imperfect it can actually be. It shows how many women are materialistic and how many men go through a mid life crisis, and how many teenagers are angry, insecure, and confused. No matter how old you are or what gender, you can relate to the story because the film shows a point of view from each character who are all different ages. Kevin Spacey was amazing in his role as the lead, as was Annette Bening as the wife, and so was Thora Birch and Wes Bentley as the two teenagers in love. Bentley’s character is actually my favorite and also Birch kind of reminds me of Amber Tamblyn who is freaking amazing so that’s definitely a good thing. Everything falls in to place in this one and by the end you get the message that you can find beauty in anything if you look close enough.

Die hard – Awesome

One of the best action thrillers ever made, Die Hard still rocks like a thunderstorm nearly twenty years after it was first released; often copied and arguably never, ever equalled, this film introduced the set-up of the lone cop/soldier/tough guy against a team of terrorists who have taken over a secured area. We’d get airports, airplanes, ships, buses, trains and many more, all in inferior films, but in Die Hard the action is set in a skyscraper, and director John McTiernan handles the claustrophobic tension with breathtaking skill. Bruce Willis also introduced the action hero as tough but eminently, realistically woundable; by the end he’s a bloody, torn, shot and beaten mess. Obviously he survives near-impossible odds, be it falling through lift shafts, jumping off of exploding roofs and such and such, but he’s no invincible Schwarzenegger type, and that’s what makes him more likable and it’s what gives the film real tension. Also, in Alan Rickman, we have the very best example of the refined European master criminal who would become a stereotype very quickly; funny, dangerous, clever and sophisticated, he’s a villain you love to hate. The script is a dazzler, the action is brutal, effective and extremely exciting and the final half hour in particular cranks up the adrenaline to maximum effect. A classic.

Saving Private Ryan – amazing movie

I have never been affected by a movie the way Saving Private Ryan affected me. That movie really took me out of my seat in the movie theater and practically had me believing I was really in the battle with John Miller. When somebody was dying in that movie, it felt as if you could almost feel their pain. Speilberg did an unbelievable job of putting realism into this movie with the camera-work and everything else. Simply amazing. An all time great.

Terminator 2

This superb sequel surpasses the excellent original in every department and quite simply you won’t see a better action film. Set 15 years after the original Arnie may return as the good Terminator trying to protect John Connor but he’s a redundant piece of scrap metal compared to the T-1000.

The opening hour and the last half hour is absolutely breathtaking with action sequences that still remain unsurpassed. Their’s also a wonderful piece of storytelling 3/4 of the way through where Dyson relises the terrifying consequences of the project he’s neglecting his family for.

The performances are memorable particularly Linda Hamilton’s Sara Connor and simply put, they’ll never make a better action film.
