First one, doctor just touched me with stethoscope and tick out the all the fields in the form.. I just wondering when i see this.. After this bp check, height, weight, blood test, urine test, x-ray, ECG, Scan and vision test. All tests are went smoothly. But I fear about eye test. But they asked me to read the letters in the board by using specs. I read it and they show me one book and asked me to tell the colour. I easily told and went out. But now i am waiting for my job. I dont know when TCS will call us…

TCS in Trouble - US clients postponed IT orders to Next Quarter

some of the major US clients are postponing IT projects to the next quarter. This was revealed by the management of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) today. The company’s Chief Operating Officer N Chandrasekaran said this was expected. “Clients are delaying their projects this quarter. It is not cancelled but it is not happening this quarter as was expected,” he maintained. The statement is a clear hint from India’s largest IT company that the sector will have to live with sluggish growth, at least for the near term.
TCS earns about 30 per cent of its topline from top 10 clients as of last quarter. And the impact of delayed projects will pull down any incremental growth in that percentage going forward. The company has launched a strategic business unit to tap small and medium enterprises between Rs 100-500 crore in size at home. It is also targeting over Rs 2,000 crore in revenue from domestic market alone before it replicates the model elsewhere.

Microsoft Releases Compatability Pack for Older Versions of Office

Microsoft has posted a Compatibility Pack for older version of Microsoft Office which will allow them to open and edit documents created by MS Office 2007. Before this, one had to remember to save in the “97-2003” formats to allow for this to be done. Thankfully, with this new functionality, you won’t have to remember to do anything other than click save.

If you have an older version of MS Office at home, you might consider installing the compatibility pack on your personal computer. That way, you’ll be able to work on newer versions of the program without fear of not being able to update your documents at a later time.

Yahoo and Microsoft can beat Google???

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

I heard that yahoo and Microsoft going to join together for beat Google. About 20% of people use yahoo search engines and 50% of people use Google search engine. The media analyzes and told that if yahoo and Microsoft will join together then Google will lose the users. In my point of view, Google is the best of all. So no one can beat Google.

What do you think about this?

Apple is reportedly planning to tie up with movie mogul Twentieth Century Fox to allow its iTunes customers to download new films. The nitty-gritty of the deal is likely to be announced by Apple CEO Steve Jobs this month.

According to reports, the agreement will enable iTunes users to keep the new movies with themselves for a specific period. They can store it in their iPods and watch it on their convenience.

The reports add that Fox may also use Apple’s FairPlay digital rights management technology on its DVDs to enable iTunes users to rip them and store them on their computers and media players. As of now, only Walt Disney is providing its new movies to iTunes users. Fox has a fantastic line-up of hits and this will add to the allure.

Warner calls on Amazon

Warner Music decided to sell its music through Amazon’s digital music store on MP3 format. The group had earlier been against selling tunes on MP3 format since they can be copied, burned into CDs and transferred to other users.

However, with more and more companies jumping into the bandwagon, Warner had no option. With this, the number of MP3s for sale in Amazon’s store has gone up to 2.9 million.

Warner’s catalogue includes hits by Led Zeppelin and other top pop stars. Universal Music Group and EMI are already selling their titles as MP3 files through Amazon.
