It’s global warming on searches
Internet users are deeply concerned about the effects of global warming, if searches in Yahoo are any indication. Global warming was one of the top items in the list of frequent searches released by yahoo the other day. It also led the kids’ searches for 2007.
Another issue which seems to have been of perennial interest this year was the war in Iraq and the possibility of another war in Iran. Interestingly, there were frequent searches on the ‘exit strategies’ for the US in Iraq.
Yahoo sifted through millions of searches conducted this year to prepare the list. A large majority searches were about celebrities including Britney Spears and Paris Hilton and the gossips surrounding them. There were also millions of searches on the fate on Harry Potter.
